Anti-Burnout Corporate Retreats. Zero Trust Falls.
An exclusive-use corporate retreat, built by clinicians.
Little Farm of Calm runs exclusive-use corporate anti-burnout retreats on a working wildlife farm near Benalla, Victoria, about two hours north-east of Melbourne. Groups of 8 to 20 take over all ten private ensuite cabins (minimum 8 cabins).
Programs are built by an AHPRA-registered physiotherapist and an ESSA-accredited exercise physiologist around evidence-based treatments: float therapy, medical-grade red light, infrared saunas, a 75m² magnesium pool, physio-led movement and anti-inflammatory catering, plus workshops including Understanding Burnout.
All-inclusive, per-person pricing quoted within 48 hours. Enquiries: [email protected] or 0417 057 056.
Because your team doesn't need another function room.
Burnout isn't a bad week. It's a clinical state with a WHO diagnosis code, and it's quietly expensive: the sick days, the churn, the good people running at 60 per cent. Most corporate retreats answer that with a lanyard, a facilitator and a whiteboard. Strange, for a problem that lives in the body.
We answer it with physiology. Float, sauna, red light, cold water, movement and food that does some of the work for you, sequenced by clinicians who treat burnout for a living. No trust falls, no sharing circles, no motivational speaker.
For teams serious about outcomes, not just an "offsite"
The full farm. Ten private rooms. Zero trust falls. Rustic enough to actually switch off, with proper coffee and Benalla six minutes away. Programs and treatments built by AHPRA Registered Physios, not "lifestyle coaches".
Plus, a licensed wildlife shelter. Nothing dismantles corporate hierarchy quite like an hour spent helping at one.
Want structure? Add our Understanding Burnout workshop: the how, why and what of burnout, from clinicians who treat it, not a motivational speaker. Want none? Also correct. Team facilitation is available on request, never by default.
This isn't the cheapest option. It's the intentional one. If your team is running on fumes, start with the plain-English guide to burnout recovery. Got one person already past the workshop stage? Our clinical 5-day burnout retreat is the individual version of this. Organising something social instead? That's the private retreat bookings page.
Reality check
Is burnout a real thing?
Short answer: yes. It has a diagnosis code, national statistics and a blood signature. Receipts below, for the sceptics on your leadership team.
The year the World Health Organization formally recognised burn-out as an occupational phenomenon (ICD-11, code QD85). It isn't a mood or a character flaw. It's a diagnosis.
Australians experienced burnout in the past year - surpassing the global average. Most did nothing structured about it. Statistically, half your team is in that data.
run dry first.
Unpaid carers and young adults are among the groups most likely to be burning out, per the same national data. Plenty of both on every payroll. Pouring from an empty cup is not a metaphor - it's physiology.
brain scan.
Burnout isn't just in your head - it changes your head. MRI studies show measurable thinning in the prefrontal cortex of burnt-out brains versus healthy controls. It's physical, and it's real.

From do-nothing to full programme
We build the programme entirely around your group. Some teams want a structured schedule. Some want treatments, meals and to be left alone. Both are correct.
Understanding Burnout workshop
The how, why and what of burnout. What it actually is (a clinical state with a WHO diagnosis code), how people get there, what to watch for in yourself and your team, and what helps. Run by clinicians who treat it. No motivational speaker, no lanyard.
Aging Great-fully workshop
Strength & mobility for every-body. Movement is the key: if you stop doing it, you'll literally stop being able to do it. Practical, physio-led strength and mobility work your people can actually keep doing at home.
Helping Wildlife workshop
What you need to know. Run from WildSide, our licensed wildlife shelter: what to do when you find injured wildlife, who to call, and how to help without making things worse. The offsite session people still talk about a year later.
Individual programs
A one-to-one assessment and take-home program for each team member, built by our physiotherapist or exercise physiologist. Your people leave with something built for their body, not a generic handout.
Classes & workshops
Physio-led aerial yoga and reformer pilates, myofascial release workshops, and a self-defence workshop. As many or as few as your schedule wants.
Catering, your way
From breakfast-only through to all meals, designed around your group. Dietaries, allergies and strong opinions about coffee all handled.
Activities
Guided bike tour of Lake Benalla, fire pit evenings, wildlife shelter experiences and mini-goat happy hour. The parts of the offsite people actually remember.
Meeting time (if you must)
Need a half-day of actual work in the agenda? There's space for it, and the setting makes it a better meeting. We'd just gently suggest not filling every hour.
Ten private ensuite cabins
Sixteen people comfortably, up to twenty at a pinch. Every cabin has its own ensuite, heating and cooling, and the whole property runs blue-light-reduced lighting at night.
One thing to know before you book: we're a real farm. Expect high-quality rooms and great food, but wildlife, "roo poos", dust or mud are sometimes part of the landscape.
The practical bits, sorted before you're asked
You're the one who has to defend the spend, chase the invoice and field the "do I have to do the yoga?" questions. Here's what that looks like with us.
A number you can take to the budget meeting
Per-person pricing on a formal quote within 48 hours, then an itemised tax invoice. One line item or broken out by programme component, whichever your finance team prefers.
Nothing is compulsory
Everything included, everything optional, and we mean it. No forced sharing, no mandatory activities, no one made to get in the cold plunge. People participate because the programme is good, not because HR said so.
One contact, start to finish
You deal with the owners: the physiotherapist and exercise physiologist who run the programme. Dietaries, allergies, room allocations, schedule changes: one email thread, handled.
Something that outlasts the retreat
Optional individual assessments and take-home programs mean each person leaves with something built for their body. The Understanding Burnout workshop gives your team shared language for workload conversations back at work.
Mobility or accessibility needs in the team? We accommodate a lot, but we're a working farm with gravel paths and uneven ground, so talk to us before booking and we'll give you a straight answer.
The offsite that keeps a wildlife shelter running
WildSide is the DEECA-licensed native wildlife shelter on our property. It receives no government grants and has no corporate sponsors. The farm's guests keep it running, and a corporate booking is a genuine part of that.
So the money your company spends on this retreat does something no function room can: it supports the rescue and rehabilitation of native wildlife in North East Victoria. Teams that want to get closer can add supported volunteering (real work that needs doing, not a photo opportunity) or the Helping Wildlife workshop.
And it holds up on the impact slide of the year-end deck, because it's true.

- Confirm your dates. The farm is yours; we handle the rest.
From our Google reviews
"Cannot rate this highly enough. It ticked all the boxes for me: great food, evidence-based therapies - none of the silly woo-woo BS - heaps of classes, and most importantly to me, it wasn't one of those pretentious wellness retreats. Jill and Daz are so genuine and down to earth."
Edward Lun · Google Review
"The activities and experiences are thoughtfully designed to help you slow down and reconnect, both mentally and physically. Everything feels intentional and healing. I left feeling calmer, clearer, and more grounded than I have in a long time. If you're feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or just in need of a reset - I highly recommend it. It's a truly special place."
Amanda · Google Review
"From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely cared for. The food was abundant and made with love. I loved the floatation tank, infrared sauna, Reformer Pilates, Aerial Yoga, connecting with animals… I arrived feeling stressed and exhausted but left feeling refreshed, grounded, and genuinely renewed. This place is a rare treasure."

Corporate booking FAQ
How many people can stay, and what are the rooms?
Ten private ensuite cabins:
- 4 cabins with queen beds, suitable for couples
- 4 cabins with double beds, ideal for singles (couples at a pinch)
- 2 twin-share bunk cabins (single over double bunk)
That's 16 people comfortably, or up to 20 if the double-bed cabins take couples. Every cabin has its own ensuite, heating and cooling.
Is there a minimum booking?
Yes: a minimum of 8 cabins. Group bookings are exclusive use, so the whole farm is yours either way, including every treatment space, the pool, the aerial dome and the grounds. No other guests.
What can we add on?
You choose how much programme you want. Add-ons include:
- Catering: from breakfast-only through to all meals, designed around your group
- Classes: physio-led aerial yoga and reformer pilates, as many or as few as you like
- Workshops: Understanding Burnout (the how, why and what of burnout), Aging Great-fully (strength & mobility for every-body), Helping Wildlife (what you need to know), myofascial release, and self-defence
- Individual programs: one-to-one assessment and a take-home program for each of your team members, built by our physiotherapist or exercise physiologist
- Treatments: float therapy, red light therapy and infrared sauna sessions
- Activities: guided bike tour of Lake Benalla, fire pit evenings, wildlife shelter experiences and mini-goat happy hour
Tell us what you're after in the enquiry form and we'll price it per person.
How does catering work?
Three options: breakfast daily with all meals included, breakfast daily plus a set number of catered meals, or breakfast daily with your own catering. Dietaries are never a problem; just tell us in the enquiry form.
Is this a team-building retreat with trust falls?
No. Programs and treatments are built by AHPRA-registered physios and an ESSA-accredited exercise physiologist, around evidence-based treatments and physio-led movement. Team facilitation is available on request, never by default.
Can we run meetings or working sessions?
Yes. Plenty of teams pair a half-day of actual work with a programme that undoes the other 200 days of it. We'll help you find the balance; we'd just gently suggest not filling every hour.
Is participation in activities compulsory?
No. Everything included, everything optional. No forced sharing, no mandatory cold plunge, no one dragged into aerial yoga. That matters more than it sounds: programmes people opt into work; programmes people are marched through don't.
Can we get a formal quote and itemised invoice?
Yes. You'll get a formal per-person quote within 48 hours of enquiring, and an itemised tax invoice for the booking, broken out by programme component if your finance team wants it that way.
Is there a corporate giving or social impact angle?
Yes, a real one. WildSide, the DEECA-licensed native wildlife shelter on the property, receives no government funding and has no corporate sponsors; retreat bookings help keep it running. Teams can also add supported volunteering or the Helping Wildlife workshop during their stay.
What about dietary requirements and accessibility?
Dietaries and allergies are never a problem; tell us in the enquiry form and the menu is designed around them. On accessibility: we accommodate a lot, but we're a working farm with gravel paths and uneven ground, so raise any mobility needs with us before booking and we'll give you a straight answer about fit.
How far is the farm from Melbourne?
About two hours north-east of Melbourne, six minutes from Benalla, Victoria. Close enough for a long weekend, far enough that nobody ducks back to the office.
